Gavin & Stacey star Mat Horne has apologised to Laura Kuenssberg after hitting out on the BBC political editor over her protection of the Basic Election.

I used to be caught up within the frenzy of the election and realise I used my public platform and keenness for politics in an incorrect manner. I remorse this & we should always stand collectively.
