KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: The synergy between customs officers from the Analysis and Investigation Division and their counterparts at Shuaiba Port thwarted the plan of some unscrupulous merchants to flood the Kuwaiti market with 40,000 branded imitation items.
The officers have since confiscated the products for destruction. Director Basic of Customs Advisor Jamal Al-Jalawi assured that the division is decided to guard mental property by stopping smuggling of imitation items into the nation.
