There aren’t any plans to alter Bathtub’s Wetherspoon’s regardless of one latest overview saying it was “the worst ever”.
The King of Wessex in James Avenue West, Bathtub has not left all it is clients completely happy.
One latest Journey Advisor overview written in January stated: “Upset.
“This have to be the more severe Wetherspoons now we have ever been in, soiled untidy tables affected by plates glasses cups ONE particular person serving an enormous queue no one appeared bothered.”

One other overview left in December 2019 reads: “Horrible meals.
“Known as in to the king of Wessex with my two daughters on Sunday eighth December within the night my daughter’s rooster burger was horrible she couldn’t eat it I had rooster and ribs the rooster was like rubber plus the chips had been chilly I need to add that my different daughter had fish and chips which she actually loved.
“Come on Wetherspoons pull your finger out step on top of things all these individuals complaining cannot be flawed
We can’t be consuming with you AGAIN.”
But some clients do appear impressed with the pub.
Additionally in December 2019, one reviewer wrote: “Good scorching meals.
“Went to this pub one Tuesday afternoon it was fairly full however we managed to get a desk,the meals was good and highly regarded and the service was wonderful. Would undoubtedly go once more subsequent time in Bathtub.”
Again in November, the pub gained an award for having platinum rated loos.
Residents in Bathtub have seen that different historic buildings within the metropolis may make a superb dwelling for a Wetherspoons.
But, Wetherspoons have confirmed there aren’t any plans being made and have defended the pub in opposition to a few of the opinions.
Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon stated: “Our pub in Bathtub may be very profitable and properly run by the administration and employees who work there.
“We word the views of some individuals on TripAdvisor however don’t agree with them.
“There aren’t any plans to redevelop the pub.”
