HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Abaco Programs is introducing the SOSA-aligned VP460 direct RF processing system to allow growth of embedded computing for multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO), beamforming, sensor processing, radar, software-defined radio (SDR), and alerts intelligence (SIGINT) in multi-channel digital warfare (EW) functions.
The VP460 is a 6U VPX embedded computing implementation of the Xilinx 16×16 RF system-on-chip (RFSoC) know-how mixed with the Xilinx Ultrascale+ field-programmable gate array (FPGA) with excessive bandwidth reminiscence (HBM).
The VP460 direct RF processing system enhances the beforehand introduced VP430 3U VPX direct RF processing system. It options 16 built-in analog-to-digital converters that run at 2 gigasamples per second, and 16 digital-to-analog converters at 6.four gigasamples per second.
Associated: Improvement package for digital warfare (EW) embedded computing sign processing launched by Abaco
Additionally included are a user-programmable FPGA material and multi-core Zynq ARM processing subsystem. The HBM VU37P system options the pace and capabilities of an UltraScale+ FPGA along with built-in DRAM within the FPGA package deal, and might switch on-chip knowledge as rapidly as 460 gigabytes per second.
The VP460 embedded computing system features a PCI Specific Gen3 knowledge aircraft, and as many as 64 high-speed serial lanes to the Xilinx Virtex Ultrascale+ HBM system to assist protocols similar to PCI Specific Gen3, 10/40 Gigabit Ethernet, and Aurora.
